Very hot hold, the bottom man is in complete control and the top man is full exposed to pressure on his shoulders and abs. It might make some men bone up in that position.
I'm told that the body triangle, when properly applied, can be the tightest, totally unbreakable bodyscissors one can apply. I've never yet been totally crushed out with a body-triangle or figure-4 bodyscissors. 5'10 155lbs. 32yo. North Bay, Ontario, I'd love to feel a strong young guy my age or younger crush me to KO with a body-triangle. I can host or travel a few hours for a good no-mercy squeeze.
Squeezetoy1984 is basically correct. The body triangle is a very powerful move. Though it is primarily used for control when you take your opponents back it often is used for submission as you have to keep it tight to prevent an escape. Frequently the recipient concentrates on the discomfort and as a result leaves his neck unprotected (distracted by the pain of the body triangle) and is open to a rear naked choke. The pressure can be intense, I passed out once from a body triangle. A person who applies it really well will often switch (if right leg is around the waist he will switch it to the left, etc) his legs in the triangle as the opponent moves or is moved side to side. It is a good control and submission technique to learn and would be glad to practice it with anyone as part of overall jiujitsu on the mat practice. Thanks
