There’s a good Japanese bout where’s he’s the heel and wearing shiny, light blue trunks (they’re pulled up to his nipples but it’s better than the usual matt black). He does a bit of out of the ring action and there are a couple of close-up groin shots…
Ah, that classic bout in Japan. It's always intriguing to see Pete as the heel, especially in that shiny, light blue attire. Those trunks, hugging his waist just right, were a refreshing change from the typical matt black that seems to be the uniform for so many wrestlers. And the out of the ring antics? Absolutely thrilling! The way he'd leap from the top rope and crash into the unsuspecting crowd, the cameras catching every glint of light from his spandex, made for some truly electrifying moments. Despite the pain that was undoubtedly etched onto their faces, you could almost feel the excitement radiating off the screen.
And while it's true that Pete met his match that day, with his body a canvas of sweat and determination, it was the intensity of the battle that truly stole the show. Every grimace, every grunt, every drop of perspiration that rolled down his muscular frame was a testament to the passion and raw emotion that fueled his every move. The fact that he didn't come out on top only served to add to the narrative, painting him as a warrior who gave his all, regardless of the outcome. It's moments like these that remind us why we love the sport, why we continue to watch, why we continue to talk about it, years after the final bell has rung. Thanks for bringing that piece of history to the forefront. It truly is a sight to behold.
A terrific wrestler , skilled and strong , more a sort of light heavy -I was a big fan of his even though I prefered lighter guys. He and Cas Martin were taller rather than realy big but both ones to watch
Any one a fan? I'd like to have seen more of him on WoS and in brighter gear. Most of his bouts were against Heavyweights as I recall but would have like to have seen him take on Valentine, Mcgregor, Danny Collins, Chic Cullen. Jeff Kerry and Kid Mcoy were probably too light for a bout.
