a vote for body boxing here. I have done it bare fist and it is just like a real fight. it can almost go too fast though, so consider doing it with rounds. it is very hot!
Is there anyone else here who loves to have a gut punching fight? This kind of fight is essentially body boxing. I love this particular kind of gut punching because it is not just simply giving or receiving with your back to a wall. Instead you are competing with another gut punching lover to see who can take the most amount of punishment. There is strategy, pacing, defense, movement required. There is often a good amount of body contact and clinching or holding involved, which I also love. It is very exciting because the outcome is not determined and is a great way to exercise. Face shots aren't allowed, so the risk of injury is far less than full on boxing. Body boxing is much safer with bare fists or MMA gloves, but with big guys boxing gloves can be used too.
all the fist fighting ive ever seen seem to involve all head and face shots. Wish guys would target soft tissue instead. A hard punch directly into the stomach is devastating. I took one during my first fight with a guy while in the army. I took a wild head swing toward his head which he ducked and countered with a solid blow to my stomach organ. Worst pain Id ever felt and i came close to blacking out. My 2nd fight also in the army lasted a lot longer with the guy pounding me in the back and ribs but i got in two stomach hits that made him give up.
go to any proper kyokushin or other hard karate dojo and ask to participate in body hardening; tell them you want punches, otherwise you will also get kicks to the body and legs too

I like gut boxing like that, trading as if in the ring, body boxing, etc. Great to get a stomach off guard like that! Also great to take it like that!

Interesting, I think It could be a funny way to mix the action/movements of wrestling and boxing, aiming to hit in the gut.
