"Hello + wrestle + goodbye" ... Or, let's be friends!
I know lots of people just like to meet up, wrestle ... and that's it: thanks a lot and goodbye. Fair enough.
In the years I've been on the site, however, I've made some superb friends. We meet for a (scissors) session from time to time - but between meetings we chat, about anything and everything. As friends do. I'm so grateful to MF for all the wonderful, interesting people I've met here.
Isn't it great that our wonderful site supports both styles?

One-off wrestle ("thanks ... that was great ... but good-bye for ever") or longer term friendship?
I absolutely won't judge which MF approach is "better". The former is of course fine and just perfect for many MF members.
But, personally (you will have guessed!) I LOVE the way an initial approach here on MF can, may, become a conversation. A conversation might become a meeting. Before or after a meeting, an MF conversation can become a friendship.
Intriguing that the MF fighters who just want a one-off meeting have not so far responded. Too busy wrestling with strangers, obviously.

23/12/2019 02:23Edscissors, I totally agree. This site is like no other.
The majority of people on here are so supportive, not like the jerks on other sites.I have met one local guy who iv had several matches with, and we've been friends since I joined. I also have about 3 or 4 other long distance freinds who I chat with on a regular bases. I hope to meet them someday in person but I already feel comfortable with them as if I already know them. MF is a cozy place where you can meet so many unique gladiators. I love it.
