Getting over your fear of getting punched in the face - how I help guys do it.

I'm setting up some punch sessions with some new buddies from meetfighters.com - guys who want to get over their fear of being punched in the face & increase their confidence as punchers. I've actually taken some guys thru a hot exercise which helps out in both areas. Here's how I explained it to one of the men I'll be meeting. He's not into having actual sex - though he's erotically turned on by boxing & punching - and that made me realize that when I get into a scene, I'm actually more interested in the punching than in what I might want to do with my dick. Hence my opening.
Just posting a couple of lumped up pics of me after an exchange very like the one I'm describing here to give you an idea of the target you can create on the upper cheek with some short sharp punches. It's actually relatively safe to punch that part of the face, so I like to concentrate on it when I get started.
Here's the scenario:

ok, so, first of all I don't think our session should involve sex at all. It'll be hot & it will turn both of us on, but let's keep it entirely to the punching part. To me that's erotic enough.
You want to increase yr confidence as a puncher - feel like you can land good clean damaging shots - build up yr stamina, work on combinations, increase your punching power, be a more aggressive fighter. You also want to improve your ability to take a punch. Get over your fear of getting hit in the face.
Here's what I've done with other guys who want to do the same things: throw and take a punch, gut & face. It always has worked.
First of all, I'm yr punching bag to start with. We'll start easy. Strip down to whatever you want to fight in, bring whatever gloves you like most, but keep them light - 8 oz or less if you've got. If you haven't got those weight gloves, I do. Believe it or not, as much as I've gotten into scenes, I've never used handwraps. I don't even know how to put them on. If YOU do (or want to) bring some & you can wrap us both up.
I'll glove you and me up. put in the mouthguards. But you'll know from the start that YOU are the man who's going to throw punches. You won't be taking any from me for the first whole part of this session. Except that I'll show you how to throw a sharp clean fast left jab by pussy-punching you with one VERY lightly - cotton puff light. I'm totally there to take what you dish out but need to show you form & speed so you can imitate it.
So now you do it back at me: raise yr left fist, get ready, aim, shoot a light pussy punch left jab at my right cheek - same way I did you. Keep it light now but quick. QUICK. I want you to learn how to snap a punch, pull it back.
So I'll encourage you
SNAP. BACK.
SNAP. BACK.
You'll get the rhythm right off.
Now we'll go deeper: I'll encourage you.
HARDER. FASTER. (same punch, but more force & FAST.)
gradually increase intensity.
SNAP. BACK.
HARDER. FASTER.
Keep aiming at the exact same point in the cheekbone. After a while you'll start to raise a lump, so it'll be an easier target.
HARDER. FASTER.
FAP!
FAP!
keep it up until you know: 1) you've got a good punch and 2) I can take it.
now you've got a hard quick effective jab going, you'll start throwing the right.
Keep your fists up.
I'll pussypunch you with the left jab you've now learned to throw
and then a pussypunch right hook - light, but fast, round the side to hit yr left cheek.
Then you SNAP a left.
SNAP a right hook to my left cheek.
Keep it light. You'll intensify the force gradually.
Always aim at the top of the cheek, hit the bone. SHARP. Make it sting. Don't punch the eye head-on, don't punch the side of the face or the ear. top of the cheekbone.
SNAP A LEFT JAB.
SNAP A RIGHT HOOK TO MY CHEEK.
HARDER. but always FAST.
FAST!
FAST.
Again what you want to do is make each punch sting. You're not out to whomp me stupid, you're out to make each punch STING. precise. hit the target. fast, hard, again. Raise a lump. Bust me up a little.
we'll then have you do a double left jab, FAP- FAP.
follow it with the right hook. WHAP.
SHARP, FAST, ALWAYS HIT THE TARGET.
GUT PUNCH
I'll stand in front of you, pussy-punch you at the exact place in your gut I'll want you to punch mine. strongest part of your abdominal muscle 'shield.' Practice tensing those abs.
Now you do it to me. Hit the same target.
AGAIN.
QUICK, SHARP,
AGAIN.
HARDER. FASTER.
HIT THE TARGET.
AGAIN.
AGAIN.
then we'll put it together in combinations.
DOUBLE LEFT JAB.
GUT PUNCH.
GUT PUNCH
GUT PUNCH
GUT
RGHT.
the point is to hit the same targets, fast & sharp.
By now, if I'm right, you'll see that I'm in pretty good shape. That is, I'll have been able to take everything you just threw, and probably not be very marked. But you'll also learn you can throw hard effective punches. In other words, you'll see that a man can throw & take a lot and be fine. And you'll start to get curious about what it must FEEL like to take what you've just dished out on me.
So we'll move to:
BACK & FORTH.
GLOVES UP.
YOU THROW A LEFT JAB - HARD FAST.
I pop one back, light, fast.
YOU THROW A LEFT - HARD, FAST.
I pop one back, a little harder.
We gradually increase the force of our punches.
but always - HARD, FAST, ON TARGET.
Do the same thing with the right hook
and the gut punch.
YOU THROW A PUNCH.
I THROW THE EXACT SAME PUNCH BACK..
Go thru the whole rep: jab, hook, gut, different combos. Whatever you do to me, I do to you.
By this time, you'll have the confidence not only to get into a fight, but to want to get into one.
We can do more variations - uppercut (taking it easy, we won't break anything) - but we'll see what we each feel like doing. This is where the bonding comes: by now we'll have a sense of ourselves as men and each other as men. You may want to try taking more punches now that you know you can. Or you may want to see just how hard YOU can throw (FAST, SHARP, ON TARGET) them at me. We'll test our limits.
But we're doing this as boxing buddies.
Exploring our capacities and limits.
