Had a great submission match with Htxwrestler tonight. He’s a good looking, smart, fit guy and easy to talk to. In the match, he was enthusiastic and fun to roll with. He got some good holds on me but can take a lot too. I don’t normally punch during a fight but he brought out my animalistic side! ;) I’m sure that when Htxwrestler gets BJJ training he will then be winning. I highly recommend this very decent and fun fighter.

Met up with this big guy for a late night match, a nice guy off the mats but a real challenge on the mat. He's good with his weight and uses it to pin well and once he got me in a sleeper pin it was all over for me. I would highly recommend this guy for the challenge he brought to the match, and moves he's got to win them

I feel extremely honoured that MuscleBond decided to meet with me this afternoon, as I know he has been recovering from an injury. It was an easy meet to arrange and having read some of his blog and of course his recommendations, I knew what I was in for and boy, did he deliver!! I feel like I've been put in a vice, manipulated, stretched and taken to a whole new level. You know you're in safe hands when the opening line is "what do you want to get out of today?" - and as such I was put totally at ease and quickly developed a sense of trust for this mighty powerhouse of a man. In every way, this was a fantastic hookup and I really hope that - injuries preventing and diaries permitting - we get to take things further with another meet soon.

Glad to break this newbie into this wrestling world. He dove right in and eager to learn. He is naturally feisty and fun to roll with. Little guy but he is stubborn and stronger than he appears. Will definitely just keep getting better and better as he gets in more experience.

I met up with Squashlad during a 4-day intensive wrestling camp and he was a blast to roll around with. Twice my size and weight, I was outclassed at first, but I used my speed and quicker reflexes to take him down and score some early points. But once we began the ground game, I was at a great disadvantage. His defense was impenetrable as I attempted various gut wrenches and maneuvers to get him on his back until I tired myself out just being on the offensive. When he countered, I was already exhausted and couldn't resist the force of his mass and power on top of me. After gaining the top position, he easily tired me out and waited until I was forced to submit and lose to a pin. Squashlad is an awesome and nice guy off the mat. Very friendly and a huge wrestling enthusiast. I recommend him to any wrestlers in the area!

After a long time of chatting, I was finally able to meet this big man. We had a very fun submission match, he is a great wrestler with a lot of power and knows how to use it. He also knows how to motivate you to give it your all back agasint him. He is very friendly and easy to hang with when not in a match. Looking forward to another go with him.

To say I was expecting a balanced match was an understatement, seeing him arrive I thought I had this little guy in the bag, but then he surprised me with wicked headlock take-downs and powerful explosive force. What a physical match, totally unexpected! Going to have to ask for a rematch so I can return the favour next time!
